YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the management consulting unit within SAP that assists customers in maximizing the benefits from technology and digitalization in their business. We are committed to ideate business innovations, develop solutions and to turn novel ideas into business results. We are looking for a business consultant (f/m/d) with a Discrete Industries background (such as Automotive, Industrial Machinery, etc.) and special focus within the procurement domain. The objective is to support strategic customers and large transformation initiatives by:

• Creating and evaluating new business scenarios for our customers
• Assessing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement and deriving customer value
• Developing and realizing business and IT strategies within the Discrete Industry
• Jointly defining architectures and derive roadmaps for the future IT landscape based on the latest SAP product & innovation portfolio
• Working closely together with SAP product development to provide input for future SAP products

A management consultant at SAP:

• Acts as trusted advisor for the customer senior management level to align transformational initiatives with SAP’s roadmap and solution portfolio
• Coaches and guides customers around an SAP centric Enterprise Architecture – encompassing on premise and cloud layers
• Initiates and drives SAP co- innovation initiatives from the top level

YOUR PROFILE

• Several years of experience in consulting, product management or business development roles
• Understanding of IT trends in combination with a broad knowledge of SAP’s strategy, the latest product portfolio and their impact on business strategies
• Familiarity with SAP’s solution portfolio for the Discrete Industry (e.g. S/4HANA with Automotive or IM&C scenarios and the related cloud products)
• Experience in self-managed project work at customer, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent English and German Language skills at certificate level C
