Job Description
In this exciting role, you will take on technical responsibility for the new and further development of our analysis tools in order to carry out forecasting and calculation models for market analyses. You will also help shape Thyssengas' path into the world of artificial intelligence. Your team will support you in this!
YOUR (H2)ELDENTATIONS WITH US- Development of analyses (including economic, market, technical) in interdisciplinary teams - from the concept, through the proof of concept, to the running system
- Development and presentation of largely automated data analyses (forecasts, optimization algorithms and other analysis methods) to support business decisions using data visualization, statistics & machine learning
- Identification, conception, implementation and evaluation of Generative AI solutions for intelligent business processes
- Performing prompt engineering, chain-of-thought (CoT) prompting and prompt injection to specifically define the behavior for each use case
- Monitoring current developments in the field of AI and data science and contributing to their integration into our business processes
- Managing data analytics and data science requirements in the departments as well as internal/external documentation and presentation of the results
- Close coordination and collaboration with stakeholders from business and IT
- Successfully completed studies in natural sciences, statistics, (business) mathematics or (business) computer science, or comparable
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and topics as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the preparation, analysis and presentation of data and knowledge of SQL, database structures and data models
- Confident use of Excel and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Initial experience in the development, deployment and integration of Generative AI applications in a corporate context
- Knowledge of big data technologies, processing of large data sets and large language models
- High motivation to think about new topics and processes and to identify and communicate approaches for data-driven procedures
- Fluent German language skills as well as strong communication and teamwork skills and a pragmatic hands-on mentality
